The last time I had a coach was 2019 and while it was a great relationship, I ventured off to do many wild, unconventional races & projects that I wanted to figure out on my own: Badwater 135, The Choose Strong 507 Mile Project, & the Grand Slam of 200s.     yesterday i ran my first half-marathon which is 21 kilometres or 13 miles and my legs are hurting even the phone in my running belt made my lower back hurts...i just want to run a full marathon 26 miles maybe this year if i can. 200 miles is just too much to imagine for me how long had she slept in those days ? but im yealous of how proud she and anyone must be after doing such a long run. tahoe looks like a very nice place to be. would be great to visit tahoe i live in germany. very cool video!!! even if my english is full of literal errors i can understand everything and i love this video :D

    I remember Sally saying in one of her videos that she wanted to be strong like her mom. You already are, Sally. And one of the toughest, yet warm hearted women I know of. Also, I pretty much follow her fuel intake she does. It's absolutely worked for my training as a beginner in hybrid life. I swear by it, Sally, so thank you for that and all your knowledge you put out there fearlessly.

    I broke my ankle 3 years ago and I am just now training just a half marathon, ran 8 miles. My ankle is so sore that I am concerned that I will not be able to run the marathon without pain. I have 2 months before the marathon. I am using ankle wraps and icing it. Do you think I’m screwed? Any ankle pain tips besides wraps and icing? I hope I can run

    Ms. Sally McRae and ed. Love the podcast huge fan first time writer here🎉 super stoked to be able to communicate with you! I have the ultra bug bad. To the point where it is all I think about, day after day, night after night I watch all of the content and wear all the brands I am so close I can feel it. Now here is the kicker… I have never ran in my life. I mean that is a bit far fetched I have ran at some point but like never for anything or in distances that were measurable outside of a living space.. I want to use my deep desire to succeed and mental fortitude to draft a book and podcast following my amazing journeys from Movie theater custodian to ultra marathon champion. I guess I need a place to start. I plan on taking atleast a few weeks to build my endurance and stamina while also getting my nutrition down. I absolutely love Publix brand sushi which is packed with nutrients, carbohydrates and electrolytes that I plan on loading up on and forcing my body to use this fuel source. I do not plan on winning my first ultra much like you, I plan on being a sleeper in the back of the pack and studying everyone very carefully until I have decided it is time to actually start racing (probably a few years of 2nd and third place). Any ways I am excited for this journey and can really use a sponsor! DM me for my address please I can use some training gear size XXL shirt and 6 men’s shoes. I don’t really like the Nikes but will take whatever is free! ❤ I am so excited for us! “Keep pumping it up”! That is my catch phrase

    I’ve been down and out for almost a year battling hardcore mental health. This made me cry knowing that I’m not giving it everything I have for myself. I am going to get back to the grind I need more of this. please don’t stop inspiring people you just saved my day and hopefully many more
